Pista Milk Barfi is a delicious sweet for every occasion. 

Pista Milk Barfi is a mouth-watering homemade delight. It needs only 4 to 5 ingredients and only 5 to 7 minutes of cooking time. You can easily prepare this sweet for any festival such as Holi, Diwali. This is quick and easy to prepare using easily available ingredients. Moreover, since it is a healthy sweet without any preservatives, additives, and colors, everyone will love this barfi and demand more.   • Cook the mixture on a low flame only.
  • Use a non-stick pan to make this barfi.
  • You can adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
  • Instead of pistachios, you can use almonds or mixed dry nuts to make this barfi.

Ingredients

  • Milk powder - 2 Cup
  • Full cream Milk - 1 Cup
  • Powdered Sugar - 1 Cup
  • Desiccated Coconut - 1 to 2 Tablespoon (optional)
  • Ghee/Clarified Butter - 1 Tablespoon + for greasing
  • Sliced Pista/Pistachios - as required

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan.
  2. Add milk, mix well, and cook it on low flame. Then add milk powder and mix well. Make sure it is lump free. Stir it continuously.
  3. Then add powdered sugar and mix well. Cook it on a low flame while stirring continuously.
  4. Add desiccated coconut and cook until it leaves the pan. Once done, switch off the flame.
  5. Grease a cake tin/tray with ghee. Pour the mixture in it and spread it. Then top it with sliced pistachios. Let it cool completely. Refrigerate it for 1 hour. After it gets set, cut into pieces.
  6. Delicious 'Pista Milk Barfi' is ready to be served.
