Poha Paratha is nice crispy mix veg Indian Flatbread.

Poha Paratha is a healthy dish made with poha, oats, boiled potato, whole wheat flour, vegetable, and spices.  It goes well with a raita or aam ki launji for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Moreover, it is the best option for busy weekdays while everyone is hurrying in making the meal. This is healthy and loaded with the nutrition of vegetables. This paratha recipe is super easy to make. In addition, this is the best way to add fresh veggies to your daily meals. Ingredients

  • Flattened rice / Poha - 1 Cup
  • Oats - 1/4 Cup (optional)
  • Carrot / Gajar - 1 Grated
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Boiled potato / Aloo - 2 Peeled and mashed
  • Whole wheat flour / Gehu ka aata - 2 Tablespoons
  • Water - As required
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Cumin seeds powder / Jeera powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander powder / Dhaniya powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required

Instructions

  1. Wash the poha. Then drain the water. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Soak the oats in water for 10 minutes. Then drain the water. Keep it aside.
  3. Now take soaked poha in a big bowl. Add soaked oats, carrot, onion, coriander leaves, boiled potato, and whole wheat flour. Mix well.
  4. Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, cumin seeds powder, and coriander powder. Mix well. If it needs add water gradually and prepare dough from it. If the dough becomes softer, add some whole wheat flour to adjust the consistency of the dough.
  5. Take a medium ball-sized portion of the dough, shape it into a ball and flatten it. Dust it with flour. Roll it with light hands and prepare a paratha.
  6. Flip the rolling board / chakla on the palm and take paratha to your palm.
  7. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Place the paratha on the tawa. Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on a medium flame from one side.
  8. Flip it once it is slightly brown. Apply ghee on both sides, and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on a medium flame. Press the paratha while cooking it to make it crispy.
  9. Once done. Take it out to the serving plate.
  10. 'Poha Paratha' is ready to be served with aam ki launji.
