Pyaaz Ki Sabzi is a quick and mouth watering sabzi.

Pyaaz Ki Sabzi is an easy and tempting recipe. You can prepare this sabzi when you do not have many vegetables and only have onions available. This recipe simply uses onions, gram flour or besan, and some spices to add to the flavour of the sabzi. It is very simple to make and hardly takes any time to prepare. Everyone including the kids will love this sabzi. You can pair this with rotis, puri, or even parathas. Sometimes when you are in hurry or sudden guests arrive, you can prepare this sabzi. Ingredients

  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Jeera/ Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Hing/ Asafoetida - a pinch
  • Hari mirch/ Green chilli - as per taste seeds removed
  • Pyaaz/ Onion - 2 big diced
  • Namak/ Salt - as per taste
  • Haldi powder/ Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Laal mirch powder/ Red chilli powder - as per taste
  • Roasted Jeera powder/ Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted Dhaniya powder/ Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Besan/ Chickpea flour - 1 and 1/2 tablespoon
  • Kasuri methi/ Dry fenugreek seeds - 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add and sauté cumin seeds, asafoetida and green chilli.
  2. Add onion to the pan and sauté it well on low- medium flame for about a minute.
  3. Add salt to the pan and mix it well for a few seconds.
  4. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder to the pan and mix them well.
  5. Add chickpea flour to the pan and mix it well for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Add dried fenugreek seeds by crushing it in your palms.
  7. Pyaaz And Besan Ki Sabzi is ready to be prepared.
