Ingredients

  • Paneer/ cottage cheese cubes - 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri red chili powder - as required
  • Salt - as required
  • Black pepper powder - as required
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Dry mint powder - as required (optional)
  • Chaat masala - as required

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add paneer, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix it properly to have a good coating.
  2. Now, heat oil in a pan and add coated paneer. Saute it gently until it turns to golden and crispy on low to medium flame.
  3. Turn off the flame and transfer it to a bowl and add dry mint powder and chaat masala. Mix it properly.
  4. Place the toothpick in between the paneer to hold it.
  5. Delicious Roasted Paneer is ready to be served.
