Sabudana Jelly Drink | Sago Jelly Drink is a nice flavourful summer special mocktail.

Sabudana Jelly Drink | Sago Jelly Drink is a rose-flavored drink. It tastes amazing with jelly pieces and cooked sabudana. Sabudana is high in carbs, yet low in fat. In addition, you just need jelly pieces, cooked tapioca pearls (sago), rose syrup, milk, and dry fruits to prepare this chilled drink. It is naturally gluten-free and vegan. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:

  • Soaking sago is optional.
  • The jelly mixture should be lukewarm while adding it to the mold to set.
  • Any type of rose syrup can be used.

Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING WEIKIELD JELLY :
  • Weikfield jelly crystal mix - 1 Packet raspberry flavored
  • Hot water - 3 Coffee cups
  • FOR PREPARING SAGO :
  • Tapioca pearls (sago) / Sabudana - 1 Cup
  • Water - 4 Cup + As required
  • FOR PREPARING SABUDANA JELLY DRINK :
  • Milk - 1 Litre
  • Rose syrup - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Chopped dry fruits (almonds and pistachios) - As required + For garnishing
  • Ice cubes - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING WEIKIELD JELLY :
  2. Take both weikfield jelly crystal raspberry flavor mix powders in a pan.
  3. Add hot water and keep stirring continuously. Now heat it on low flame for a few seconds till the mixture becomes clear. Keep stirring continuously.
  4. Then turn off the flame. Keep it aside till the mixture becomes lukewarm.
  5. Now transfer it to a tray to set it. Let it set for 45 minutes at room temperature. Then cut it into small square pieces. Keep it aside.
  6. FOR PREPARING SAGO :
  7. Soak sabudana for 30 to 40 minutes.
  8. Boil 4 cups of water in a pan. Add soaked sabudana and let it boil on medium flame until sabudana turns transparent. Stir it occasionally.
  9. Strain it and add water to the sabudana pearls. Keep it aside.
  10. FOR PREPARING SABUDANA JELLY DRINK :
  11. Add rose syrup to the milk. Then add cooked sabudana, raspberry jelly cubes, dry fruits, and ice cubes. Mix well.
  12. Transfer it to serving glasses. Garnish it with chopped dry nuts.
  13. Chilled 'Sabudana Jelly Drink | Sago Jelly Drink' is ready to be served.
