Siru Keerai | Masiyal | Tamilnadu Special Green Sabzi is a traditional recipe. The green leafy vegetable is cooked in a special vessel called Kal Chatti (special vessel made of stone). Cumin seeds, red chilli and black peppercorns give a nice flavour to the dish. To enhance the taste one may add coconut to it. This goes well with hot rice, ghee and dal to have a complete meal. This is very nutritious as well as iron-rich sabzi that will be beneficial for all. So, try to make this sabzi at home and let us know how you liked it.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- You can use any type of green leafy vegetable like – Spinach, fenugreek leaves, bathua etc.
- You can make this sabzi in a pan if you do not have Kal Chatti.
- Coconut is an optional ingredient. If you are not adding coconut then add chillies while cooking the leafy vegetable.
