Ingredients

  • Peanuts / मूंगफली - 1/2 Cup
  • Water / पानी - As required
  • Semolina / Rava / सूजी - 1 Cup
  • Salt / नमक - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / लाल मिर्च पाउडर - 1 Tsp
  • Turmeric powder / हल्दी पाउडर - 1/2 Tsp
  • Ginger / अदरक - 1 Inch chopped
  • Green chilli / हरी मिर्च - 1 Finely chopped
  • Onion / प्याज़ - 1 Finely chopped
  • Tomato / टमाटर - 1 Finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves / धनिया पत्ता - A handful
  • Clarified butter / घी - As required
  • *Tsp=Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Boil peanuts in water for 5 to 10 minutes. Drain the water.
  2. Now take boiled peanuts, semolina, water, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger, and green chilli in a grinding jar. Grind it for a few seconds. Now take it out to a big bowl. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  3. After 5 minutes, add little water to make medium thick consistency batter. Now add onion, tomato, and coriander leaves. Mix well.
  4. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Pour the batter on the tawa and spread it like a small pancake. Pour some drops of ghee.
  5. Cook it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame until it becomes nice golden brown and crispy. Then flip it to cook the other side as well. Slightly press it.
  6. Once done, take it out to a serving plate.
