Soya Manchurian | Soya Chunks Dry Manchurian is a lip-smacking Indo-Chinese dish for all.

Soya Manchurian | Soya Chunks Dry Manchurian is something different with usual ingredients. The soya chunks are tossed with some Chinese sauce and ginger chilli paste. This is a delicious preparation with soya chunks. Soya chunks tend to be high in protein and is a good vegetarian source of protein. It is a very healthy dish full of flavours. You will fall in love and make this amazing and super quick recipe. This dish goes well with fried rice or noodles for a complete meal. Moreover, it is an appetizer or evening in itself. This can be a good starter for parties and get-togethers. So, try to make this irresistible dish at home and enjoy with your family.

  • You can adjust the spiciness as per your taste.
  • Soaking of the soya chunks is a very important step so, do not skip it.
  • Add salt carefully as the soy sauce also contains salt.

Ingredients

  • Soya Chunks - 1 Cup
  • Onion - 1 small sized chopped
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Green Capsicum - 2 Tablespoon chopped
  • Soy Sauce - 1 Teaspoon
  • Tomato Sauce - 1 Teaspoon
  • Chilli Sauce - as per taste
  • Vinegar - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Chilli Flakes - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - 1 Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Soak the soya chunks for 10 minutes in water. Then boil it for 10 to 12 minutes on a medium flame. Then drain the water completely.
  2. Take a pan add oil and heat it.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute it. Then add chopped or sliced onion. Saute it on a low flame until translucent.
  4. Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soy sauce, oregano, little salt and chilli flakes. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  5. Then add boiled and drained soya chunks. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  6. Then add vinegar and chopped capsicum. Mix well then switch off the gas.
  7. Delicious 'Soya Manchurian | Soya Chunks Dry Manchurian' is ready to be served.
