Chocolate Dosa delicious snack for all especially kids.

A very innovative and lip-smacking snack is Chocolate Dosa. This dosa is flavoured with cocoa powder and it is sweet in taste. Everyone loves to eat dishes with chocolate flavour. This snack is going to be a hit not only among the kids but also adults. Moreover, it is a very healthy dish as it uses dosa batter and cocoa powder. Both the ingredients are very healthy. Dosa batter is a good source of carbohydrate whereas cocoa powder helps to improve brain and heart health. Cocoa powder is good for teeth and skin too. Overall, this snack is delicious with health benefits. So, try this recipe at home and do let us know how you liked it.

  • Add a very little salt to the dosa batter.
  • Cook the dosa on medium heat by covering with a lid. This will make the dosa crispier and the upper layer will be soft.
  • To make dosa softer add little poha to the batter.

Ingredients

  • Dosa Batter - 1 Cup
  • Powdered Sugar - 3 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Cocoa Powder - 1 & 1/2 Tablespoon to 2 Tablespoon
  • Oil - for greasing

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add dosa batter, cocoa powder and sugar. Mix well. If you feel the batter is thick then add little water to get perfect consistency.
  2. Heat a dosa tawa and grease it with oil. It should be hot before making the dosa.
  3. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it in a circular manner. Cook the dosa on a medium heat by covering with a lid.
  4. Once cooked, take it out on a serving plate.
  5. Delicious 'Chocolate Dosa' is ready to be served.
