It is an ideal party starter or can be served as an evening snack which can be served with a cup of tea or coffee. You can make these bites without any planning, any time you want. Tips and Suggestions by a Mom Chef:
- Use fine semolina to prepare this dish.
- If fine semolina is not available, then coarse grind the semolina to make it fine.
- If you want you can add soaked poha as well.
- You can prepare the suji bites in desired shape and size.
- The bites should be put in the steamer for steaming only after the water boils.
- You can add podi masala, peri-peri masala or any masala instead of sambar masala.
- FOR PREPARING SUJI BITES IN A PAN :
- Boil water in a pan. Put a big, heightened ring/bowl. Then put a greased plate on it.
- Now arrange all the suji bites on it. Then cover that pan. Steam the bites for 10 to 12 minutes on medium flame.
