Til Mungfali Chikki | Mixed Nuts Chikki is a popular snack item during the winter season, especially in Makar Sankranti. This is a healthy and tasty snack item. You just need a few ingredients to prepare this chikki. It requires a few tips and tricks to make a perfect crunchy chikki. This is a healthy winter snack which provides essential nutrients and heat to the body. This contains black and white sesame seeds, peanuts and daaliya/roasted Bengal gram. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- To make a perfect chikki, the ratio of jagger/gud, and nuts should be proper.
- Cook the jaggery on a low flame. Do a test by adding a drop of jaggery in the water. If it solidifies and breaks then it is ready. Else cook for more few minutes.
- After mixing all the ingredients, immediately flatten it. Then cut into pieces when it is warm. Else you will not get perfect pieces.
