Veg Hakka Noodles is a very famous and most lovable snack among all age groups.

Veg Hakka Noodles is an Indo-Chinese preparation. This uses lots of veggies with noodles, some spices and soy sauce. It differs from veg chowmein and other types of noodles. It is a basic preparation of noodles. You can do variations by adding different types of sauces to it. It is a delicious preparation which does not require much time. This quick and easy noodle recipe with tips and trick to make non-sticky noodles. This has a mild flavour of garlic, little spicy and little tangy. Now, you can prepare restaurant style noodles at your home very easily by following this recipe. So, try to make this popular snack at home and enjoy with your loved ones.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • To boil the noodles, just boil water. Once boiled add salt and noodles. Boil it for a minute and drain the water. Sprinkle oil on it to make it non-sticky.
  • Cut the veggies in long pieces.
  • Do not cook the veggies completely. Keep them crunchy.
  • After sauteing the veggies, switch off the gas and add boiled noodles. This will prevent the veggies from burning and you can toss the noodles very well.

Ingredients

  • Noodles - 100 Gram
  • Garlic Paste - 1 Teaspoon
  • Ginger Paste - 1 Teaspoon
  • Spring Onion - 2 Tablespoon + for garnishing
  • Green Chilli - 1 finely chopped
  • French Beans - a handful (long pieces)
  • Carrot julienne - a handful
  • Red Capsicum - a handful julienne
  • Green Capsicum - a handful julienne
  • Cabbage - a handful julienne
  • Soy Sauce - 1 to 2 Tablespoon or as per taste
  • Black pepper powder - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Vinegar - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 Tablespoon + 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander Leaves - for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a vessel then add noodles and let it boil for a minute. Then switch off the gas and drain the water completely. Pour 2 tablespoon oil on the noodles and toss it. Keep aside.
  2. Take a pan and add 1 teaspoon oil and heat it.
  3. Add ginger and garlic paste. Saute for few seconds. Then add spring onion and saute for few seconds. Add 1 tablespoon water so that it will not burn.
  4. Add green chilli and saute for a second. Then add french beans and carrot. Saute them on a high flame for a minute.
  5. Then add red and green capsicum. Saute for 30 seconds.
  6. Add say sauce, black pepper powder and salt. Mix well and cook.
  7. Add cabbage to the pan and saute it for 30 seconds. Then switch off the gas.
  8. Add boiled noodles and toss it well with the help of 2 big forks.
  9. Add vinegar and toss it. Transfer to a serving plate. Garnish it with coriander leaves and spring onion.
  10. Delicious 'Veg Hakka Noodles' is ready to be served.
