Vegetable Noodles is mouthwatering and most lovable street food. 

Vegetable Noodles is an Indo-Chinese snack and everyone loves it so much. This is quick and easy to prepare with fewer ingredients. You just need some veggies like cabbage, onion, capsicum, some sauces and noodles to prepare this dish. It is so simple and easy to prepare that anyone can prepare this at home. You can have it as a snack or dinner. So, try to make it at home and enjoy with your family and friends.

Tips and Suggestions by the Chef:-

  • To make the noodles non-sticky, boil the noodles by adding little oil to it. Then wash it with cold water and sprinkle oil on it.
  • You can use veggies of your choice to make the noodles.

Ingredients

  • Noodles - 1 Cup
  • Onion - 1 small sized sliced
  • Tricolour Capsicum - 1/4 Cup julienne
  • Cabbage - 1/4 Cup julienne
  • Vinegar - 1 to 2 Teaspoon
  • Soy Sauce - 1 to 2 Teaspoon
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 to 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - 1 to 2 Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Bring water to boil. Then add noodles and boil until cooked. Add oil and little salt to the water while boiling. Once cooked, drain the water completely. Wash the noodles with cold water and sprinkle 1 teaspoon oil on the noodles.
  2. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan.
  3. Add sliced onion, coloured capsicum and saute them on a high flame for a minute.
  4. Then add cabbage and saute it on a high flame.
  5. Add salt, vinegar and soy sauce. Mix well. Then add boiled noodles and toss it well.
  6. Add tomato ketchup and toss well. Cook for a minute then switch off the flame.
  7. Delicious 'Vegetable Noodles' is ready to be served.
