Veggie Fried Rice is a street style lunch dish.

Veggie Fried Rice is a crunchy and spicy variety of rice dish. It is an instant dish. This dish is rich in nutrients and colorful because of the vegetables. The garlic, green chili, pepper powder, soy sauce and red chili sauce makes it tasty and mouth-watering. It is wholesome meal to enjoy with family and friends. Ingredients

  • Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic cloves/Lahsun - 4 to 5 no finely chopped
  • Green chili/Hari mirch - 1 to 2 no finely chopped
  • French beans/Beans - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Carrot/Gajar - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Onion/Pyaz - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Capsicum/Shimla Mirch - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Cabbage/Patta Gobhi - 1 cup shredded
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black peppercorn powder/Kali Miri powder -a pinch
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Rice - 2 to 3 cups (cooked)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a wok. Put the finely chopped garlic and green chili. Then, put the finely chopped french beans, carrot, onion and capsicum.
  2. Put the shredded cabbage and mix well. Saute all the vegetables on high flame. Put salt to taste, black peppercorn powder, soy sauce and red chili sauce. Mix well.
  3. Then, add the cooked rice. Mix well together and cook for 1 minute. After that turn off the gas flame.
  4. The Veggie Fried Rice is ready to be served.
