2 Types Of Shahi Bread Pakoda is a spicy and quick snack. This recipe includes Matar Paneer Bread Pakoda and Aloo Matar Bread Pakoda. You can prepare it with paneer, potato, green peas mixture stuffed bread slices dipped in a gram flour batter and then deep-fried till it becomes crisp. Ingredients

  • Bread - 4 Slices
  • Green Peas / Matar - 1 Cup
  • Weikfield Chef's Basket Pizza & Pasta Sauce - As required
  • FOR PREPARING PANEER GREEN PEAS STUFFING :
  • Ground Green Peas / Matar - 1/2 Cup
  • Cottage Cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup grated
  • Cheese - 1 tbsp grated
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Black Pepper Powder / Kali Mirch Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • FOR PREPARING POTATO GREEN PEAS STUFFING :
  • Ground Green Peas / Matar - 1/2 Cup
  • Cheese - 1 tbsp grated
  • Boiled Potato / Uble Huye Aloo - 1/2 Peeled and grated
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Black Pepper Powder / Kali mirch Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tsp
  • FOR PREPARING BREAD PAKODA :
  • Gram Flour / Besan - 1 Cup
  • Black Pepper Powder / Kali Mirch Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida / Hing - A pinch
  • Carom Seeds / Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
  • Water - As required
  • Weikfield Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil - For frying
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take green peas in a grinding jar. Coarsely grind it for a few seconds.
  2. FOR PREPARING PANEER GREEN PEAS STUFFING :
  3. Take ground green peas in a bowl. Add grated paneer, cheese, salt, black pepper powder, coriander leaves, and 1 tbsp of Weikfield Chef's Basket Pizza & Pasta Sauce. Mix well.
  4. Spread the prepared paneer stuffing to one bread slice. Cover it with another bread slice. Press it and cut it into two pieces.
  5. FOR PREPARING POTATO GREEN PEAS STUFFING :
  6. Take ground green peas in a bowl. Add cheese, grated potato, salt, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, coriander leaves, and 1 tbsp of Weikfield Chef's Basket Pizza & Pasta Sauce. Mix well.
  7. Spread the prepared potato stuffing to one bread slice. Cover it with another bread slice. Press it and cut it into two pieces.
  8. FOR PREPARING BREAD PAKODA :
  9. Take gram flour in a bowl. Add black pepper powder, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, asafoetida, and carom seeds by rubbing between your palms. Mix well.
  10. Add water gradually to prepare a lump-free and medium consistency batter.
  11. Add Weikfield Baking Soda to the batter and mix well.
  12. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan. Now, dip the prepared bread slices into the prepared gram flour batter and coat it well from all sides.
  13. Place the prepared bread slices into the hot oil. Fry them on medium flame.
  14. Once its top surface turns light golden brown, flip it using a slotted spoon.
  15. Deep fry them until crispy and light golden brown from both sides. Once done, take them out to a serving plate and cut it.
