  • Keep the flame off before adding curd to the pan, otherwise, it will curdle.
  • Keep stirring continuously after adding curd till it starts to boil otherwise, curd will curdle.

Ingredients

  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Sliced
  • Capsicum / Shimla Mirch - 1/2 Sliced
  • Cottage Cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup Sliced
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Dry Mango Powder / Amchur - 1/2 tsp
  • Dry Fenugreek Leaves / Kasuri Methi - 1 tsp
  • Roasted Peanuts / Mungfali - 1/2 Cup coarsely ground
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful + For garnishing
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • All Spice Mix Powder / Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder / Dhaniya Powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeera - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic / Lahsun - 2 to 3 Cloves finely chopped (optional)
  • Ginger / Adrak - 1 Inch grated
  • Green Chilli / Hari Mirchi - 2 to 3 Finely chopped
  • Asafoetida / Hing - A pinch
  • Curd / Dahi - 1 Cup whisked
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take onion, capsicum, paneer, salt, dry mango powder, dry fenugreek leaves, roasted peanuts powder, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, all spice mix powder, and coriander powder in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, garlic, ginger, green chilli, and asafoetida. Mix well.
  3. Saute it for a few seconds on medium flame. Then add the prepared paneer mixture and mix well.
  4. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame. Keep stirring occasionally.
  5. Now turn off the flame and add curd to the pan. mix well.
  6. Then turn on the flame and keep stirring continuously till it starts to boil otherwise, curd will curdle.
  7. Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame. Stir it occasionally.
  8. Once done, turn off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves. Take it out to a serving bowl.
  9. '5 Minutes Restaurant Style Paneer Sabji' is ready to be served.
