Almond Cookies | Oats Almond Cookies is a very healthy and mouthwatering homemade delight.

Almond Cookies | Oats Almond Cookies is quick and easy to prepare. This uses healthy ingredients like oats, almond, whole wheat flour. You can prepare and store the cookies. They are crispy and delicious cookies. Everyone will love and enjoy these cookies. You require only 10 minutes of efforts to make the cookies. They are freshly baked goodies that you can enjoy with your family this winter. So, try to make this snack at home and enjoy. Do share your feedback as well.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Use all the ingredients which are at room temperature including butter.
  • You can use salted or unsalted butter to make the cookies. If you are using unsalted butter then add a pinch of salt to the mixture.
  • Preheating of the oven is very important for any kind of baking. So, first, preheat the oven then bake.
  • Keep the distance between the cookies because they will spread a little bit while baking.

Ingredients

  • Oats - 1/2 Cup
  • Whole Wheat Flour - 1/2 Cup
  • Almond Powder - 1/4 Cup
  • Soft Salted Butter - 1/2 Cup
  • Powdered Sugar - 1/2 Cup
  • Baking Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Baking Soda - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Milk - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Almond - as required for garnishing
  • Ghee/Clarified butter - as required for greasing

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add soft butter (butter should be at room temperature), powdered sugar. Whisk it until the mixture is creamy and fluffy.
  2. Now, mix oats, whole wheat flour, almond powder (coarse powder) in a bowl. Add this mixture in the butter mixture.
  3. Add baking powder and baking soda. Combine all the ingredients together. Do not knead it.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon milk and mix well.
  5. Meanwhile, preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 10 minutes.
  6. Take a baking tray and line it with butter paper. Grease the paper with ghee or butter.
  7. Now, make small balls of mixture and press little bit. Place an almond on the top. Arrange the cookies on baking tray. Keep distance between the cookies.
  8. Now, put the baking tray in the oven. Set the temperature 150 degree Celsius and time 20 minutes. Bake the cookies.
  9. Once they turn brown from sides, take them out. Let them cool for 5 minutes.
  10. Delicious 'Almond Cookies | Oats Almond Cookies' are ready to be served.
