Aloo Ki Tikki | Stuffed Aloo Tikki a crispy and delicious snack. 

Aloo Ki Tikki | Stuffed Aloo Tikki is a mouthwatering snack with the secret ingredient. This has a crispy texture with a tasty stuffing. It requires very less oil for cooking that makes it a healthier snack option. This has veggies like carrot, beans, peas and cottage cheese/paneer in it. It is an innovative dish and very healthy too. This is a quite filling snack for everyone. It is a treat for those who love to eat chaat. Everyone will be going to love this snack. So, try to make this snack at your end and enjoy with your loved ones.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Veggies of choice can be used for the stuffing.
  • To enhance the taste of the dish, rock salt/sendha namak can be used either in the stuffing or outer covering.
  • The veggies can be skipped if it is being made for vrat/fasting.
  • It is recommended to make this tikki with homemade paneer.

Ingredients

  • Boiled potato - 2, mashed
  • Sabudana/Sago - 1 & 1/2 Tablespoon, crushed
  • Coriander Leaves - a handful, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Green Chillies - 1 to 2, finely chopped
  • Oil - 1 to 2 Teaspoon
  • FOR STUFFING:-
  • Carrot - 1 Tablespoon, chopped and boiled
  • French beans - 1 Tablespoon, chopped and boiled
  • Green peas - 1 Tablespoon, boiled
  • Crumbled Paneer - 1 Tablespoon
  • Rock Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper powder - to taste

Instructions

  1. Crush the sabudana in pulse mode of the grinder.
  2. Take a bowl and add mashed boiled potato, crushed sabudana, salt, green chilli, and coriander leaves. Mix all together.
  3. Take another bowl and add boiled carrot, peas. French beans, crumpled paneer, rock salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
  4. Now, take a big-sized potato mixture. Roll it and then flatten it. Put a spoonful of the stuffing then seal the tikki properly. Shape it into a round and flattened tikki.
  5. Meanwhile, a heat little oil in a pan or on a tawa.
  6. Cook the tikki on a low flame until it is crisp on both the sides and it turns nice golden brown. Once done, take it out on a plate.
  7. SERVING :-Take a serving bowl, and place the tikki in it. Break the tikki a little bit and pour green chutney and tamarind chutney.
  8. Delicious 'Aloo Ki Tikki | Stuffed Aloo Tikki' is ready to be served.
