Aloo Matar | Aloo Matter is curry which does not use onion and garlic. This is very quick and easy to prepare with easily available ingredients. The potato and peas are cooked with tomato-based gravy with some basic spices. This tastes delicious with paratha, roti, puri and even with rice. Make and serve this sabji for lunch and dinner, everyone will enjoy eating this sabji. This has a nice aroma of which comes from spices like kasuri methi/dry fenugreek leaves. It is very quick and easy to make. This is a good option when you do not have any other vegetables at home or when you want something different to eat. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- You can add onion and garlic if you want. Make paste along with tomato and ginger.
- Add spices according to your taste.
- You can adjust the consistency of the gravy according to your taste. Or you can make a dry version of the sabji as well. To make dry sabji do not add water to it.
