Bharwa Gunde ka Achaar is a yummy pickle that goes well with almost everything. This is a Rajasthani – Marwari special pickle recipe. Gunda also called as Lasoda or Glue berries are seasonal mostly available in summers. Though they are available at the beginning of winters too (for few days only), thanks to the new technology used in crop cultivations. But typically they are more available in bulk during the summers and it is that time when raw mangoes too are available. So a perfect pickle making season this time is. And here I am with a different but yummy pickle of these Gunda stuffed with Spices added to Raw Mangoes. So, try this pickle at home and enjoy.
Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- Add more oil, if required to the jar containing pickle. Oil should be an inch above the content such that it should be fully immersed in oil.
- For quicker pickling, you can blanch the Gunda berries in hot water, remove and pat dry before de-seeding.
