South Indian Cuisine deals with many types of vada and one of them is Chana Dal Vada | Dal Vada.
Chana Dal Vada | Dal Vada is a quiet popular snack and breakfast option. The ground dal is mixed with onion and some spices like chilli, ginger then fried. This is crispy from outside and soft from inside. These vadas are so addictive that you will love to eat again and again. This is also known as Masala Vada or Parappu Vadai. It is quick and easy to prepare. Tea and the vada is a perfect combination one can have for evening tea-time. So, try to make this vada at home and enjoy tea time with your loved ones.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- Do not add water while grinding the dal. Grind the dal coarsely.
- The consistency of the batter should be thick. Else, it will be difficult to handle.
- Fry the vada on low-medium heat to get perfectly cooked and crisp vada.
- The vada tastes great with Tamarind Chutney or Coconut Chutney.
