Cheese Burst Pizza | Kadhai Pizza is a delicious and a mouthwatering pizza for all, especially for kids.

Do you want to make restaurant-style ‘Cheese Burst Pizza’ at home? So, here is a simple recipe to make perfect pizza without using an oven and yeast. This is cheesy and super amazing pizza. You can easily prepare the pizza with easily available ingredients like refined flour, cheese, some veggies and sauce. This pizza is baked in the kadai/deep pan. So, it is very to make for everyone. Pizza is everyone’s favourite and this pizza is quite popular among kids and adults as the cheese oozing out when we eat the pizza. Now, you can easily prepare this famous version of pizza at home. So, try to make it at home and let us know how was it.

This recipe was prepared under the live cooking contest ‘Zayka World Cup’ by a lovely mom – Ekta Agarwal.

Tips and suggestions by the Chef:-

  • Whole wheat flour can be used to make the pizza base.
  • Available vegetables of choice can be used.
  • Any cheese can be used for stuffing and topping.
  • Sauces can be used according to taste. But it should be ensured that the quantity of pizza sauce is more than that of the other sauces.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR PIZZA BASE :-
  • Maida/ Refined flour - 1 Cup + for dusting
  • Baking Powder - 3/4 Teaspoon
  • Baking Soda - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Namak/ Salt - as per taste
  • Dahi/ Curd - as required to make the dough
  • Oil - 1 Teaspoon
  • OTHER INGREDIENTS:-
  • Tricolour Shimlamirch/ Capsicum - as required
  • Pyaaz/ Onion - as required
  • Olives - as required
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 1 Teaspoon
  • Shezwan Sauce - 1 Teaspoon
  • Pizza Sauce - 2 to 3 Teaspoon
  • Cheese Spread - 2 Talespoon
  • Oregano - as per taste
  • Melted butter - as required
  • Namak/ Salt - as required for baking

Instructions

  1. PREPARING THE DOUGH-
  2. Take a bowl and add refined flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix well and add curd to make a soft dough. Add a teaspoon of oil and knead the dough. Then rest the dough for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. PREPARING THE DOUGH-
  4. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts.
  5. Meanwhile, add salt to the kadai/deep pan. Put a stand and cover it with a plate. Heat it on a medium to high flame. Heat a tawa too.
  6. Take 1 part of the dough and roll it to make a thin roti. Cook it on the tawa a little bit. Once it has light brown spots, take it out.
  7. Now, take the other two parts and roll it slightly bigger than the first roti. Take an aluminum plate or a cake tin base and grease it with butter. Put the roti on it.
  8. Spread cheese spread on the second roti. Put the cooked base/roti on it. Cover and seal the sides with the help of a fork.
  9. Apply butter on the sides of the base.
  10. Now, pour tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, Schezwan sauce, and pizza sauce. Spread all the sauces over the central part.
  11. Put vegetables (onion, tricolour capsicum) on the pizza base.
  12. Top it with grated mozzarella cheese.
  13. Put the pizza in the kadai. Bake it for 5 to 7 minutes or until it turns light brown (reddish) from the sides.
  14. Once baked, take it out, sprinkle oregano, and cut it into pieces.
  15. Delicious 'Cheese Burst Pizza ' is ready to be served.
