Schzewan Cheese Coin Vada is a unique recipe for starter or appetizer.

Schzewan Cheese Coin Vada is a simple and easy recipe with minimum efforts. The ingredients are besan/gram flour, cheese, bread, and spices. Firstly, we have to make the batter and then cut the bread into desired pieces and then make a coin and dip properly in the batter, and lastly deep fry it. You can cut the bread with the help of a cutter, if you do not have the cutter then use any small bowl or cup to give it a shape. Relish the cheese coin vada with schezwan sauce or tomato sauce or green chutney or you can eat as it is also. Try to prepare it at home and enjoy it with family and friends. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Use any type of bread like white, whole wheat, or multigrain bread.
  • The batter should have a medium consistency.
  • Make sure to whisk the batter properly, to avoid lumps.
  • You can also use grated cheese if you do not have cheese slice.
  • If you do not have schezwan sauce, then add red chili in tomato sauce and apply it on bread.
  • Adjust spice and serve it hot for the better taste.

Ingredients

  • Besan/ gram flour - 1 bowl
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Periperi - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - as required
  • Coriander leaves - 1 teaspoon finely chopped
  • Water - as required
  • Schezwan sauce - as required
  • Cheese slice - as required
  • White bread - 2 slices

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add besan, red chili flakes, peri peri, chaat masala, oregano, salt, and coriander leaves.
  2. Add water little by little to form a medium consistency batter. Whisk it properly to avoid lumps.
  3. Now, take the bread slice and cut it into any shape using the cutter.
  4. Spread schezwan sauce on the bread pieces.
  5. Now, place cheese on the bread piece and cover it with another schezwan sauce spread bread piece.
  6. Further, dip the cheese coin in the above batter. Roll it as the batter should coat the coin properly.
  7. Heat enough oil in the pan and place the coins in it and deep fry it.
  8. Fry it on a low to medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes until it becomes golden and crisp.
  9. Delicious Schzewan Cheese Coin Vada is ready to be served.
