Cheese Manchurian Dosa is a unique fusion recipe and tastes delicious.

Cheese Manchurian Dosa is a mouthwatering dosa with a twist. The dosa is stuffed with Manchurian, veggies and cheese to make this innovative recipe. This is a fusion of South Indian Food and Chinese Food. By making this unique dosa, you can enjoy these two cuisines in one meal. This is very easy to prepare too. Kids and all family members will love this yummy cheesy dish very much. So, try to make this dish for your family and enjoy!!

Tips and Suggestion by Mom Chef:-

  • You can make dosa using Dosa Batter.
  • You can use veggies as per the availability and choice.
  • Make sure to squeeze all the water of the veggies before making the Manchurian balls. If the water content is more, the balls will break while frying.
  • You can pre-prepare the Manchurian balls and gravy.
  • Serve this dosa with Coriander Coconut Chutney and Green Chutney.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR MANCHURIAN BALLS:-
  • Cabbage - 1/2 Cup finely chopped or grated
  • Carrot- 1/2 Cup grated
  • Capsicum - 1/2 Cup finely chopped
  • Garlic - 1/2 Teaspoon finely chopped
  • Green chilli - 1/2 Teaspoon finely chopped
  • Ginger - 1/2 Teaspoon finely chopped
  • Refined flour - 4 Tablespoon
  • Corn flour - 3 Tablespoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - as required for frying
  • INGREDIENTS FOR MANCHURIAN GRAVY:-
  • Onion - 1/2 Cup
  • Green Capsicum - 1/2 Cup
  • Garlic - 1/2 Teaspoon finely chopped
  • Green chilli - 1/2 Teaspoon finely chopped
  • Ginger - 1/2 Teaspoon finely chopped
  • Salt - a pinch or 2
  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 3 Tablespoon
  • Chilli sauce - 1 Teaspoon
  • Tomato Ketchup - 3 Tablespoon
  • Corn starch slurry - 1 Tablespoon Corn Starch + 4 Tablespoon Water
  • Water - 1/2 Cup
  • INGREDIENTS FOR DOSA:-
  • Dosa batter - as required
  • Mixed veggies - as required (cabbage, capsicum, tomato, cilantro or coriander leaves)
  • Butter - as required
  • Cheese - as required

Instructions

  1. PREPARING MANCHURIAN BALLS:-
  2. Take a bowl and add finely chopped cabbage, capsicum, grated carrot. Add salt to it. Keep aside for 5 minutes. Then squeeze the water of the veggies completely.
  3. Now, add refined flour, corn flour, finely chopped ginger, garlic, green chilli and salt. Mix well to bind all together.
  4. Meanwhile, heat oil for frying.
  5. Make small balls of the mixture. Fry these balls on a medium flame. When the balls turns nice golden brown then take them out on a tissue paper to soak extra oil. Keep aside to cool.
  6. PREPARING MANCHURIAN GRAVY:-
  7. Take a pan, add oil and heat it.
  8. Add finely chopped ginger, green chilli and garlic. Saute it on a high flame.
  9. Add finely chopped onion and capsicum. Saute it on a high flame for 2 minutes.
  10. Add soy sauce, red chilli sauce and tomato ketchup. Mix well and cook.
  11. Then add corn starch slurry mix well. Add 1/2 Cup water and little salt. Mix all together and bring it to a boil. Cook for a minute then switch off the gas. Keep aside to cool.
  12. PREPARING DOSA:-
  13. Now, take a dosa pan and heat it.
  14. Pour a spoonful of dosa batter and spread it to make dosa. Cook it on a low flame.
  15. Break the Manchurian ball and add it on a dosa.
  16. Add 3 tablespoon of Manchurian gravy, add 2 tablespoon of chopped veggies and a spoonful of butter. Mash it with a masher and spread it on a dosa.
  17. Grate cheese on dosa. Cover and cook it for 2 minutes or until cheese gets melted.
  18. Once cooked, transfer to a plate.
  19. Yummy 'Cheese Manchurian Dosa' is ready to be served with coconut chutney and green chutney.
