Chilli Paneer | Restaurant Style Chilli Paneer is a favourite snack and very popular dish all over India.

Chilli Paneer | Restaurant Style Chilli Paneer is a very famous and most lovable appetizer. This is an Indo – Chinese recipe and is favourite of all. This is very healthy as paneer/cottage cheese are shallow fried in very less oil. Moreover, you can easily make this snack cum appetizer with fewer easily available ingredients. This is a spicy paneer recipe with a nice flavour of garlic. This can be a party appetizer or you can combine it with rice variety to make a meal. Everyone will love to eat this dish. Ingredients

  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese - 200 Gram (cube)
  • Corn Flour - 2 Tablespoon
  • Black Pepper Powder - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Red Chilli powder - as per taste
  • Garlic paste - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Onion - 1/2 diced
  • Green Chillies - as per taste
  • Green Capsicum -
  • Soy Sauce - 2 to 3 Tablespoon
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 2 to 3 Teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Oil - 1 to 2 Tablespoon
  • Spring Onion Greens - as required for garnishing
  • Coriander Leaves - as required for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add corn flour, salt, black pepper powder, red chilli powder. Mix well and add cubes of paneer/cottage cheese. Coat them well and transfer the paneer cubes in a bowl. Keep the corn flour mixture aside.
  2. Meanwhile, heat little oil in a pan to shallow fry paneer. Shallow fry the paneer from all the sides. Once done, take tehm out.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic paste. Saute it.
  4. Then add diced onion and saute it. Add little water and saute it. Then add green chilli, capsicum, soy sauce, red chilli sauce, black pepper powder. Mix well and cook.
  5. Add 2 tablespoon water to the cornflour mix. Mix well and add this to the pan. Mix well.
  6. Now, add paneer cubes. Toss it well to coat the paneer cubes. Add sugar and stir it. Then switch off the gas.
  7. Transfer to the bowl and garnish it with spring onion greens and coriander leaves.
  8. Delicious 'Chilli Paneer | Restaurant Style Chilli Paneer' is ready to be served. Serve hot.
