Chocolate Cupcake In Katori | Eggless Chocolate Cup cakes is a beautiful, delicious, and the perfect cake for kids as well as for adults. The ingredients we used for the cake are weikfield cocoa powder, maida, weikfield baking powder,  vanilla essence, water, sugar, curd, and oil. You don’t need an oven or mold to prepare these cakes, because we baked the cupcakes in a pan using small katori. Weikfield cocoa powder is rich in taste & dark. Its luscious texture makes it a perfect choice for smoothies, milkshakes, ice cream, and other delights. Bake your favorite chocolate cakes, brownies, cookies, and trifles with this cocoa Powder. It can be a flavourful and delicious ingredient for your desserts. This cake is easy enough for beginners. So, try to make this cake on your special occasion and share your feedback with us.

Tips and Suggestions by a Mom Chef:

  • Any type of odorless vegetable oil can be used to make the cake.
  • The consistency of the batter should be ribbon consistency.
  • Fill 1/4 portion of Katori with batter because after baking the cake will rise.
  • Use a heavy bottom pan to prepare this cake.
  • Don’t open the lid while the cake is baking.
  • check the cake by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean then the cake is ready.
  • FOR MAKING EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES IN OTG :
  • Preheat OTG at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
  • Bake the cake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING WET INGREDIENTS :
  • Powdered sugar - 3/4 Cup
  • Curd / Dahi - 1/3 Cup
  • Oil - 1/4 Cup + For greasing
  • Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  • FOR PREPARING DRY INGREDIENTS :
  • Weikfield unsweetened cocoa powder - 3 tbsp
  • All purpose flour / Maida - 1 Cup
  • Weikfield baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Weikfield baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - A pinch
  • Water - As required
  • OTHER INGREDIENTS :
  • Chocolate sauce - For garnishing
  • Chocolate chips - For garnishing
  • Sugar balls - For garnishing
  • Dry fruits - For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING WET INGREDIENTS :
  2. Take powdered sugar in a bowl. Add curd, oil, and vanilla essence. Whisk it for 1 to 2 minutes using a whisker.
  3. FOR PREPARING DRY INGREDIENTS :
  4. Now take another big bowl and put a sieve on it. Add all purpose flour, weikfield cocoa powder, weikfield baking powder, weikfield baking soda, and salt.
  5. FOR PREPARING CHOCOLATE CUP CAKE :
  6. Take a heavy bottom pan. Put a bowl in it. Then put a big plate on the bowl. Now cover that pan with its lid.
  7. Then heat the prepared heavy bottom pan for 10 minutes on low flame.
  8. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients gradually. Mix well with a spatula using the cut and fold method (Cut the batter from center then fold from the sides to mix).
  9. Add water gradually to prepare medium (ribbon consistency) consistency batter.
  10. Grease the katori (bowl) mold with oil. Pour the batter to 1/4 of the katori. Tap it. Likewise, prepare all bowls.
  11. Now place the prepared bowls on the plate of the preheated pan. Bake it for 20 minutes on low flame.
  12. After 20 minutes, check the cake by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean then the cake is ready.
  13. Take it out and keep it aside. Let it cool down. Then de-mould it.
  14. Take it out on a serving plate and pour chocolate sauce on it. Garnish it with chocolate chips, sugar balls, and dry fruits.
