Cooker Cake | Eggless Cooker Cake is a unique idea to make a mouthwatering dessert. You just need Weikfield Chocolate Cooker Cake Mix, oil, milk, and chocolate ganache. This technique for making a dessert in a pressure cooker turns into a portable treat for kids. Moreover, you can prepare it instantly for an unexpected guest or serve it on your special occasions like a kitty party, birthday party, or family get-together. This recipe was prepared using Weikfield Cooker Cake Mix (Chocolate) by a lovely Mom: Shveta Sheth from Mumbai

Tips and Suggestions by a Mom Chef:

  • Any type of odorless vegetable oil can be used to make the cake.
  • Katori (bowl) or cake tin can be used instead of glass to prepare this cake.
  • Fill 3/4 portion of glass with batter because after baking the cake will rise.
  • The cake should be put in the pressure cooker for steaming only after the water boils.
  • Remove the whistle of the pressure cooker’s lid before steaming.
  • Check the cake by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean then the cake is ready.
  • A dhokla steamer can be used instead of a pressure cooker.
  • You can cut the cake as per your choice.
  • The ratio of fresh cream to chocolate should be 1:1 for the ganache.
  • You can garnish the cake as per your choice.

Ingredients

  • Milk - 120 ml.
  • Vegetable Oil - 2 tbsp + For greasing
  • Weikfield Cooker Cake Mix (Chocolate) - 1 Pkt
  • Water - As required
  • FOR GARNISHING :
  • Dark Chocolate - 1/2 Cup
  • Fresh cream - 1/2 Cup
  • Chocolate chips - For garnishing
  • Sugar balls - For garnishing
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Open Weikfield chocolate Cooker Cake Mix's packets in a bowl. Measure the milk with the other empty packet till the black line.
  2. Add the milk to the cake mix. Then add vegetable oil and mix well.
  3. Boil water in a pressure cooker. Put a ring in it. Then put a plate on it.
  4. Grease the glasses with oil. Pour the batter to 3/4 of the glass. Likewise, prepare another glass. Tap them.
  5. Now place the prepared glasses on the plate of the prepared pressure cooker.
  6. Remove the whistle of the pressure cooker lid. Close the lid of the cooker and steam the cake on a low flame for 30 to 32 minutes.
  7. After 30 minutes, check the cake by inserting a toothpick. If it comes out clean then the cake is ready.
  8. Once the cake is steamed well, allow it to cool down for 2 to 3 minutes. Then release its edges from the glass using a knife and transfer it to a grill or wire rack. Then cut into pieces and take it out on a serving plate.
  9. FOR GARNISHING :
  10. Heat water in a small pan. Put a big bowl on it. Add dark chocolate pieces to the bowl. Stir it continuously to melt it
  11. Once the chocolate melts well, turn off the flame and add fresh cream and mix it.
  12. Apply the prepared ganache on the cake pieces. Garnish it with chocolate chips and sugar balls.
