The gravy requires use of whole spices like bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom, cloves and black peppercorn. Since, it is dhabha style, its preparation is done in mustard oil. Hence, it becomes tasty and flavorful. Adding the gram flour along with spices like red chili powder, coriander seeds powder makes it a delicious dish. You can serve the dish with roti or phulka. - In place of mustard oil, you can use oil available with you.
- You can skip onion.
- If you want the bhindi more crispy, then cook it for more 1 to 2 minutes.
