Tips and suggestions by the Mom Chef:-
- Add very little water while grinding the mixture for falafel.
- Use the soaked chickpea for making this dish.
- Make the falafel balls and immediately put in the appe pan, else the falafel balls will become flat.
- In the oven, bake the falafel balls for 15 minutes from each side at the temperature of 177 degree Celsius. While deep frying takes 5 to 7 minutes.
- For 1 cup of soaked chickpea take two garlic cloves.
- To make the dish spicy you can add either red chili flakes, red chili powder or dry red chili while grinding the mixture.
