This recipe was prepared using Weikfield Jelly Crystals Mix (strawberry flavor) and  Custard powder (Vanilla Flavor) by a lovely Mom: Shveta Sheth

Tips and Suggestions by a Mom Chef:

  • Use room-temperature or cold milk to add in the custard powder.
  • You can adjust the sweetness of custard as per taste.
  • The consistency of custard will thicken after it cools down.
  • If you want, you can prepare the opposite bowl. Add the prepared fruit custard mixture in the bowl and let it set for 15 minutes in the refrigerator and top it with jelly mixture.

Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING WEIKFIELD JELLY :
  • Weikfield jelly crystal mix - 1 Packet strawberry flavored
  • Boiling Water - 1 Cup
  • FOR PREPARING CUSTARD MIXTURE :
  • Milk - 500 ml. + 1/2 Cup
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Weikfield Vanilla Custard Powder - 2 tbsp
  • FOR PREPARING FRUIT CUSTARD WITH JELLY :
  • Ripe Mango / Aam - 1 tbsp + For garnishing
  • Banana / Kela - 1 tbsp + For garnishing
  • Pomegranate / Anardana - 1 tbsp + For garnishing
  • Apple / Seb - 1 tbsp + For garnishing
  • Cardamom / Elaichi - 1/4 tsp + For garnishing
  • Almond Flakes - 1/2 tsp + For garnishing
  • Pistachios Flakes - 1/2 tsp + For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING WEIKFIELD JELLY :
  2. Take weikfield jelly crystal strawberry flavor mix powder in a bowl. Add boiling water and mix well.
  3. Fill the half serving bowl with the prepared jelly mixture. Let it set for 10 to 12 minutes at room temperature. Keep it aside.
  4. FOR PREPARING CUSTARD MIXTURE :
  5. Take 1/2 Cup of room temperature milk in a bowl. Add weikfield vanilla custard powder and mix well to prepare lumps-free mixture.
  6. Boil milk in a bowl. Add sugar and mix well. Boil it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame. Keep stirring continuously.
  7. Now keep stirring continuously and add the prepared custard mixture. Boil it for 2 to 3 minutes on low flame till the mixture becomes creamy, thick, and shiny. Keep stirring continuously.
  8. Once done, Turn off the flame and let it cool down completely.
  9. FOR PREPARING FRUIT CUSTARD WITH JELLY :
  10. Take the prepared custard mixture and add mango, banana, pomegranate, apple, cardamom powder, almond flakes, and pistachio flakes. Mix well.
  11. Now take a prepared jelly serving bowl. Add the prepared fruit custard mixture on it. Garnish it with mango, banana, pomegranate, apple, cardamom powder, almond flakes, and pistachio flakes.
  12. 'Fruit Custard With Jelly' is ready to be served.
