Hara Bhara Kabab | Veg Kabab is a very popular and delicious snack for everyone.

Hara Bhara Kabab | Veg Kababis a famous snack item across India. This is highly nutritious and amazing it taste because of veggies. This has beans, green peas, spinach, capsicum along with potato. This is quick and easy to make as well. You can serve this as a party snack or a tiffin snack for kids or a tea-time snack for your family. Everyone will love to have these kababs. This is full of nutritions as it use lots of veggies. It is very appealing, no one will refuse to have it. So, try to make this snack at home and let us know your feedback.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Any green vegetables can be used to make the kabab.
  • The mixture of the kabab should be dry.
  • The kabab can be deep-fried if required. If the kabab is being deep-fried, it should first be rolled in breadcrumbs and then fried.
  • Shallow fry the kabab on a low flame to cook it perfectly.
  • Serve this kabab with tomato ketchup or curd or any type of chutney.
  • You can serve it as a curry by combining it with gravy.

Ingredients

  • Boiled Aloo/ Potato - 2
  • French beans - 2 to 3 Tablespoon chopped and boiled
  • Hare matar/ Green peas - 2 to 3 Tablespoon boiled
  • Palak/ Spinach - 500 gm
  • Shimlamirch/ Green capsicum - 2 to 3 Tablespoon chopped
  • Hari mirch/ Green chilli - 1 Teaspoon crushed
  • Laal mirch powder/ Red chilli powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Dhaniya powder/ Coriander powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Amchur/ Dry mango powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Garam Masala/ All spice mix - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Chaat Masala - 1/2 to 1 Teaspoon
  • Bread Crumbs - as required
  • Kaju/ Cashew nuts - as required (split into 2)
  • Namak/ Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon + as required for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach well and blanch it for 2 to 3 minutes. Then transfer it immediately to the cold water. Squeeze the water completely and chop it.
  2. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a pan. Add crushed green chilli.
  3. Then add capsicum and cook it until it turns soft. Add boiled French beans and peas. Mix well and cook on a medium flame. Add a little salt while cooking. Cook for a minute and then turn off the gas. Let the mixture cool completely.
  4. Grind the veggies along with blanched spinach to make a smooth paste. Do not add water while grinding.
  5. Now, take a bowl and add mashed boiled potato, veggie paste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder, garam masala, and chaat masala. Mix well and add breadcrumbs as required to make a dough-like consistency.
  6. Divide the mixture into equal parts. Roll the mixture and flatten it a little. Place a cashew nut on the top.
  7. Heat a tawa or pan. Grease it with a little oil. Then place the kabab on it to cook.
  8. Cook the kabab on a low flame until it turns brown on both the sides. Once done, take it out on a plate.
  9. Delicious 'Hara Bhara Kabab | Veg Kabab' is ready to be served.
