Hari Mirch Ki Sabzi is a mouthwatering and healthy dish.

Do you and your family members love spicy food? Then Hari Mirch Ki Sabzi is a perfect option to enjoy your food. This is a spicy, tangy and flavourful dish. This is quite easy and quick to prepare at home using simple easily available ingredients. You just need green chillies, some spices and fenugreek seeds. This makes it a very healthy and delicious dish perfect of the winter season. You can serve this as a side dish for your meals. So, try to make this sabzi at home and enjoy with your family. Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • By adding milk to the sabzi, it retains the green colour of the green chillies and green chillies remain soft.
  • You can add spices as per your choice.

Ingredients

  • Green Chilli - 1 Cup chopped
  • Kalonji/Onion Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Asafoetida/Hing - a pinch
  • Coriander/Dhaniya Powder - 3 to 4 Teaspoon
  • Fennel seeds/Saunf Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Amchur/Dry Mango Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Milk - 1 to 2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Danamethi/Fenugreek Seeds - 1 Tablespoon
  • Mustard oil - 3 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Soak the fenugreek seeds overnight.
  2. Wash and chop the green chillies by removing the seeds. Transfer to the bowl. Add salt, turmeric powder ad soaked fenugreek seeds.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add kalonji, mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Let the seeds crackle.
  5. Add green chilli mixture to the pan. Mix well.
  6. Add milk and cook for a few seconds. Add asafoetida to it.
  7. Add coriander powder, fennel seeds powder, dry mango powder. Mix well and saute for a minute. Then switch off the flame.
  8. Delicious 'Hari Mirch Ki Sabzi' is ready to be served.
