Ingredients

  • Dry Red Chilli / Sukhi Lal Mirch - 4 to 5 Seedless
  • Dry Coriander Seeds / Sabut Dhania - 1/4 Cup
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeera - 2 tbsp
  • Fennel Seeds / Saunf - 1 & 1/2 tsp
  • Black Cardamom / Badi Elaichi - 5
  • Cloves / Laung - 6
  • Cinnamon / Dal Chini - 1/2 Stick
  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Dry Mango Powder / Aamchur - 2 tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder / Kali Mirch Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tbsp
  • Black Salt / Kala Namak - 1 tbsp
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan. Add dry red chillies in a pan. Roast it for a few seconds on low flame until it changes color. Keep stirring continuously.
  2. Once done, take it out in a bowl. Keep it aside.
  3. Now heat a pan again. Add dry coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, black cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon stick. Roast it for 1 to 2 minutes on low flame till the nice aroma begins to rise. Keep stirring continuously.
  4. Once done, turn off the flame and let it cool down.
  5. Now take roasted red chillies and all spices in a grinding jar. Add turmeric powder, dry mango powder, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, and black salt.
  6. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its powder. Once done, take it out in a bowl.
  7. 'Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala | Pav Bhaji Masala' is ready to be used.
