Instant Palak Paneer is one of the most popular and healthy sabzi/semi-curry.

Instant Palak Paneer is the most simple, quick, and commonly made paneer dish. The main ingredients are spinach and paneer. It is healthier than the other creamy versions of paneer. Here, we used curd instead of fresh cream. You can also use onion, garlic, and tomato puree, instead of chopping, if you don’t like the small pieces that come in the mouth with the paneer sabzi or curry. It is the most interesting way to include spinach in the meal. It goes well with plain paranthas, roti, naan, or jeera rice. It’s such a great way to sneak in the greens. Moreover, kids usually don’t like spinach but if there was paneer with it, they would happily gulp down bowls. So, try this palak paneer recipe and enjoy it with friends and family. This recipe was prepared by Namrata Bohra Jain ( a lovely mom from Mumbai whose passion is cooking ).

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Use homemade paneer.
  • You can use fresh cream/malai instead of curd.
  • Soak paneer in water for a few minutes to remove excess oil and get a sponginess.
  • Spinach tastes bitter, so you can add a pinch of sugar to cut the bitterness.
  • Boil spinach for 2 to 3 minutes and transfer it to the cold water, to retain its color.
