- The consistency of the chutney can be adjusted as per choice.
- The ratio of jaggery and sugar should be 1:1.
- The ratio of jaggery and sugar to tamarind should be 1:1.
- Sweetness can be adjusted as per taste.
- If you want, you can add only jaggery too.
- You can also store cooked tamarind pulp in the freezer.
- Crush the fennel seeds to prepare its powder.
- You can store this chutney in a dry airtight glass jar and keep it in the refrigerator for 5 to 6 months.
