Millet Roti | Multigrain Roti is a super healthy and tasty roti for everyone. 

Millet Roti | Multigrain Roti is loaded with nutrition and tastes amazing. This is a good source of Omega 3 fatty acid, iron and calcium. Moreover, this is very good for weight loss, reducing hair fall. This is very simple and easy to prepare as well. You can have it with any type of curry or sabji. If you want to lose weight so have it regularly as this helps to reduce fat from the body. This has 4 types of millet along with flax seeds. You can easily prepare this multigrain flour and store it. So, try to make this roti at home and enjoy with your loved ones.

This roti was prepared by Neha Khaitan – a lovely Mom from Rajasthan who loves to cook since she was 10.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • The ratio of millet flour is the same. If you are taking millet flour 500 gram each then add 250 gram of flax seeds powder in it. Keep this flour in an airtight container.
  • If you want you can add salt to the dough.

Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat flour - 1 Cup
  • Ragi/Finger Millet Flour - 1 Cup
  • Bajra/Pearl Millet Flour - 1 Cup
  • Jwar/Sorghum flour - 1 Cup
  • Alsi/Flax Seeds - 1/2 Cup powdered
  • Ghee/clarified butter - as required for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix all the flours along with powdered flax seeds. Mix well. Keep this multigrain flour/Aata in the air tight container.
  2. Now, take a bowl and add 1/2 Cup flour. Add water and knead semi soft dough. Keep aside for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a tawa.
  4. Take small portion of the dough, dust it with flour and roll the roti ( little thick )on a plastic sheet. This will prevent the roti from sticking and it will be easier to roll it.
  5. Cook the roti on the hot tawa from both the sides on a medium flame. Then cook it directly on the flame to cook it completely. Once done take it out on a seving plate.
  6. Delicious and very healthy 'Millet Roti | Multigrain Roti' is ready to be served. Apply ghee on hot roti and serve.
