Mix Veg Pakoda is a delicious Indian deep-fried snack.

Mix Veg Pakoda is a flavourful soft on the inside and crisp on the outside monsoon special fritters. Everyone can make it with simple and basic ingredients that are easily available in their kitchen. This dish will make a good weekend or evening snack when you have guests at your home. These types of dishes are the perfect way to use leftover vegetables in the refrigerator. The preparation process is very easy. However, it requires time for chopping the veggies. Enjoy this dish with a hot cup of tea and don’t forget to share your feedback with us at your end.

  • If you want, you can use grated ginger and green chili instead of paste.
  • If rice flour is not available you can use sooji.
  • Add water carefully because water will come out from vegetables also.

Ingredients

  • Gram Flour / Besan - 1 cup
  • Potato / Aloo - 1 Small Finely Chopped
  • Cabbage / Patta Gobhi - Finely Chopped As Required ( optional )
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Small Finely Chopped
  • Capsicum - 1 Finely Chopped
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 1 Finely Chopped
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - 1/2 Bowl
  • Ginger Green chilli Paste / Adrakh Hari Mirchi Paste - 1 Teaspoon
  • Rice Flour / Chaval Ka Aata - 2 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder / Dhaniya powder - 1/2 Cup
  • Roasted Cumin Powder / Jeera Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt / Namak - As Per Taste
  • All Spice Mix Powder / Garam Masala - 1 Teaspoon (optional )
  • Crushed Fennel Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
  • Carom Seeds / Ajwain - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Water - As Required
  • Oil - For Frying

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add gram flour , potato, cabbage, onion, capsicum, tomato, coriander leaves, ginger green chilli paste, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, salt, all spice mix powder, crushed fennel seeds, carom seeds by rubbing it between your palm then mix all ingredients well and add water gradually to make moist mixture and mix it well.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium flame and when the oil is medium hot, take the small ball-sized mix veg mixture and drop it into the hot oil.
  3. When top surface turns light golden brown, flip them using a slotted spoon. Deep fry them until crispy and light golden brown from both sides, take them out using a slotted spoon.
  4. Take them out over a paper napkin in a plate to remove excess oil.
  5. Mix Veg Pakoda is ready to serve.
