Mungfali Shimla Mirch Sabzi | Peanut Capsicum Sabzi is a mouthwatering sabzi for everyone. 

Mungfali Shimla Mirch Sabzi | Peanut Capsicum Sabzi is a lip-smacking preparation of capsicum and peanuts. Peanuts give not only a nice flavour to the sabzi. You can have chapati or paratha as a lunch or dinner. Also, you can serve this sabzi in the lunchbox. Moreover, you just need capsicum and peanuts along with some spices. This gets ready in just 10 to 15 minutes so suitable for busy mornings as well. So, try to make this sabzi at home and enjoy your meal with family. Do share your feedback as well.

Ingredients

  • Capsicum/Shimla Mirch - 2 big sized
  • Roasted Peanuts Powder - 1/4 to 1/2 Cup
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Coriander Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Asafoetida/Hing - a pinch
  • Jeera/Cumin Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 Teaspoon or as required

Instructions

  1. Roast the peanuts on a low flame for 4 to 5 minutes. Then let them cool completely. Crush the peanuts to make a coarse powder.
  2. Wash and chop the capsicum into small cubes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds.
  5. Add chopped capsicum and saute it. Cover and let it cook for 2 minutes on a medium flame.
  6. Now, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder. Mix well and cook. Cover and let is cook on a medium flame for a minute.
  7. Add roasted and crushed peanuts, mix well. Cook for a minute then switch off the flame.
  8. Delicious '' is ready to be served.
