Paan Paneer Bhajiya is a lip-smacking snack for all. 

Paan Paneer Bhajiya is an innovative snack and starter. The betel leaf or paan stuffed with paneer then coated with gram flour-cornflour batter and deep fried. You may have eaten different types of bhajiya/fritters but this is a unique one. This is not only tasty but healthy too. Betel leaf is used as ayurvedic medicine and has many health benefits too. This is very good for respiratory problems. Moreover, it improves digestion and cures a cold and cough. So, try to make this tasty healthy recipe and let us know how you liked it.

Ingredients

  • Besan/Gram flour - 3/4 Cup
  • Corn Flour - 1/4 Cup or less
  • Curd - 1 Tablespoon
  • Pav bhaji masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Paneer/cottage cheese - 1/2 Cup grated
  • Betel Leaves/Paan - 6
  • Cloves/Laung - 6
  • Oil - for frying

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add gram flour, corn flour, salt, pav bhaji masala, curd. Mix and add water to make a thick batter.
  2. Now, take a bowl and add grated paneer. Add little salt and pav bhaji masala, mix well. Divide it into 6 equal parts.
  3. Heat oil for frying.
  4. Take a paan/betel leaf, place a small portion of the paneer. Close the paan and seal it with a clove.
  5. Dip this stuffed pan in the batter and deep fry this on medium-high flame.
  6. Once it turns nice golden brown, take it out.
  7. Yummy 'Paan Paneer Bhajiya' is ready to be served.
