Paan Shots is is a mouth-watering combination of paan and rose gulkhand with spices and ice cream. It inspires by the meetha pan that Indians usually consume after a heavy meal. Betal leaves are known for their aromatic stimulant properties. Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING PAAN PASTE :
  • Betel Leaves / Paan (Kolkata Paan) - 4 to 5 Chopped
  • Fennel seeds / Saunf - 1 Tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Ice cubes - As required
  • Water - As required
  • Gulkand - 3 Tablespoons
  • FOR PREPARING PAAN SHOTS :
  • Paan paste - 2 Teaspoons
  • Milk - 1/2 Cup
  • Vanilla ice-cream - 1 Tablespoon
  • Green food color - A pinch
  • Ice cubes - As required
  • Dry rose petals - For garnishing (optional)
  • Cherry - For garnishing (optional)

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING PAAN PASTE :
  2. Take paan, fennel seeds, ice cubes, sugar, and little water in a mixer jar. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its paste.
  3. Now add gulkand and ice cubes. Grind it again for a few seconds. Take it out to a bowl.
  4. FOR PREPARING PAAN SHOTS :
  5. Take paan paste, milk, vanilla ice-cream, green food color, and ice cubes in a mixer jar. Grind it for a few seconds
  6. Now pour the prepared paan shots into the serving glass. Garnish it with dry rose petals.
  7. Take a cherry and put a skewer/toothpick through it.
  8. Put a prepared skewer/toothpick on the serving glass for garnishing.
  9. 'Paan Shots' are ready to be served.
