Palak Paneer Stuffed Paratha is an instant protein-rich dish.

Palak Paneer Stuffed Paratha is healthy paratha with the goodness of spinach and paneer. It is nice green color paratha. You can easily prepare this paratha with a simple technique. You can serve it with curd or pickle. In addition, you can add spinach to your kid’s regular meal with this idea.   • Add the blanched spinach to the cold water to retain its color.
  • If you want, you can add ginger and green chilli while grinding spinach leaves.
  • Any vegetables can be added to the paneer stuffing.

Ingredients

  • FOR BLANCHING SPINACH :
  • Spinach / Palak - A bunch
  • Water - As required
  • Ice cubes - 4 to 5
  • FOR PREPARING PANEER STUFFING :
  • Grated paneer / Cottage cheese - 1 Cup
  • Grated cheese - 2 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1/2 tsp
  • FOR PREPARING PALAK PANEER STUFFED PARATHA :
  • Whole wheat flour / Gehu ka aata - 1 Cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Ginger-green chilli paste / Adrakh-hari mirchi paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR BLANCHING SPINACH :
  2. Boil water in a pan. Add spinach. Boil it for 1 minute on high flame.
  3. Now take ice cubes in a bowl. Take out spinach in ice bowl using a slotted spoon. Let it cool down.
  4. Then strain the water and transfer blanched spinach to a grinding jar and grind it for a few seconds. Add little water and grind it again for a few seconds to prepare its puree. Keep it aside.
  5. FOR PREPARING PANEER STUFFING :
  6. Take paneer, cheese, salt, and red chilli powder in a bowl. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  7. FOR PREPARING PALAK PANEER STUFFED PARATHA :
  8. Take whole wheat flour in a bowl. Add salt, ginger-green chilli paste, oil, and spinach puree. Mix well and prepare a medium-soft dough.
  9. Take the medium soft wheat dough and make two round shaped small circular pedas from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a roti and keep it aside. Make another roti.
  10. Take one roti and apply ghee to it. Then spread the prepared paneer stuffing on it.
  11. Place the other roti over it. Carefully seal the paratha borders with fingers.
  12. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Place the stuffed paratha on it and cook it on a medium flame.
  13. Flip it once it is slightly brown, apply ghee on both sides, and cook it on a medium flame. Press the paratha while cooking it to make it crispy.
  14. Once done. Take it out to the serving plate.
  15. 'Palak Paneer Stuffed Paratha' is ready to be served with pickle.
