Palak Sandwich | Spinach Sandwich is a healthy and mouth-watering sandwich.

Palak Sandwich | Spinach Sandwich is simple and easy to prepare. The spinach, coriander leaves, mint, and spices are used as stuffing which makes this sandwich more healthy and nutritious. It is too quick and hardly takes a few minutes to prepare. It is a perfect and balanced breakfast recipe that can also be consumed as an evening snack.   • Instead of red chili flakes, you can use red chili powder.
  • Use whole wheat flour bread or white bread or multigrain bread of your choice.
  • Instead of a cheese slice, you can also use grated cheese.
  • If you do not like cheese, then you can use butter or ghee.
  • Adjust spices as per the requirement.
  • You can also grill the sandwich or can prepare it in a sandwich maker.
  • Add veggies of your choice.
  • Serve it immediately for a better taste.

Ingredients

  • Bread - 2 slices
  • Palak/ spinach - 1/2 cup, finely chopped
  • Tomato - 2 big-sized, finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup, finely chopped
  • Mint leaves - as required, finely chopped
  • Salt - as required
  • Chaat masala - 1 tablespoon or as required
  • Red chili flakes - as required
  • Cheese slice - 1
  • Ghee/ clarified butter - as required

Instructions

  1. Wash palak properly and finely chop it.
  2. In a bowl, add tomato, palak, coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt, chaat masala, and red chili flakes. Mix well.
  3. Take a bread slice and place a cheese slice. Place the above-prepared mixture properly and evenly.
  4. Sprinkle some chaat masala and red chili flakes. Cover it with another bread slice.
  5. Heat a pan and grease it with the ghee. Place the sandwich and apply ghee to it.
  6. Flip it and allow the sandwich to toast properly on a low to medium flame until golden and crispy from both sides.
  7. Delicious Palak Sandwich | Spinach Sandwich is ready to be served.
