Paneer Butter Masala Without Onion Garlic is a creamy and rich side dish. This sabji is different from other paneer dishes. It is made with only tomato, paneer, and cashews. A spicy tomato gravy with cashews and paneer gives a nice taste and texture to the spicy dish. This dish tastes great with hot roti, naan, or paratha. You just need some easily available ingredients from your kitchen to make a perfect curry. Ingredients

  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Bay leaf / Taj patta - 1
  • Cloves / Laung - 2
  • Cardamom / Elaichi - 2
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1 Cup diced
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 tsp
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder / Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Ginger-green chilli paste / Adarak-hari mirchi paste - 1 tsp
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 2 Chopped
  • Cashews / Kaju - 5 to 7
  • Water - As required
  • Sugar / Chini - 1/2 tsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves / Kasuri methi - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful + For garnishing
  • Fresh cream / Malai - 1 tbsp
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add bay leaf, cloves, and cardamom. Mix well.
  2. Add paneer and mix well. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on low flame. Stir it occasionally.
  3. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, all spice mix powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Further, add ginger-green chilli paste and mix well.
  5. Meanwhile, take tomato, cashews, and little water in a grinding jar. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its puree.
  6. Add the prepared puree to the pan. Mix well. Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame. Stir it occasionally.
  7. Add sugar and dry fenugreek leaves by rubbing between your palms. Mix well. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame. Stir it occasionally.
  8. Now add coriander leaves and fresh cream. Mix well. Saute it for a few seconds on medium flame. Stir it occasionally.
  9. Once done, garnish it with coriander leaves. Take it out to a serving bowl.
  10. 'Paneer Butter Masala Without Onion Garlic' is ready to be served.
