Papad Achari Paratha | Papad Stuffed Paratha is an instant tiffin snack idea. It is easy to make with whole wheat dough, papad, and pickle masala. It tastes amazing with the nice flavor of pickle and the crunchiness of papad. Moreover, you can serve it for lunch, or dinner. It does not require much preparation and cooking time. In addition, it goes well with curd or any type of chutney. So, try to make this dish in your kitchen and share your valuable feedback with us.

  • Any type of papad can be used.
  • Readymade raw pickle masala can be used by adding oil to it instead of homemade pickle masala.
  • Butter or oil can be used instead of ghee.

Ingredients

  • Roasted papad - 2
  • Pickle masala / Achar masala - As required
  • Whole wheat dough / Gehu ka aata - As required
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Crush both roasted papad on a plate. Keep it aside.
  2. Take medium soft wheat dough and make two round shaped small circular pedas from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a roti and keep it aside. Make another roti.
  3. Take one roti and apply pickle masala to it. Then spread crushed papad and coriander leaves on it.
  4. Place the other roti over it. Carefully seal the paratha borders with fingers. Slightly roll it.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Place the stuffed paratha on it and cook it on a medium flame.
  6. Flip the paratha and cook it on a medium flame for 3-4 minutes and keep pressing it. Cook it well from both sides by applying ghee to it. Once it is done, take it out on a serving plate.
  7. 'Papad Achari Paratha | Papad Stuffed Paratha' is ready to be served.
