Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING PAPDI CHAAT SANDWICH :
  • Bread - 2 Slices
  • Green chutney - As required
  • Tamarind chutney / Imli ki chutney - As required
  • Potato / Aloo - 1 Boiled, peeled, and sliced
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • Chaat masala - As required
  • Small Sized Puri / Papdi / Mathri - 4
  • Grated cheese - As required
  • Nylon Sev - As Required
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • FOR PREPARING PAPDI CHAAT :
  • Small Sized Puri / Papdi / Mathri - 9
  • Boiled Potato/ Aloo - 1 Peeled and mashed
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 1 Finely chopped
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1/2 Finely chopped
  • Chaat Masala - As required
  • Green chutney - As required
  • Tamarind chutney / Imli ki chutney - As required
  • Lemon juice - Of 1/2 lemon
  • Nylon Sev - As Required
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING PAPDI CHAAT SANDWICH :
  2. Take bread slices. Apply green chutney on one slice and tamarind chutney on another slice.
  3. Now add boiled potato slices, onion, and coriander leaves to the green chutney applied bread slice.
  4. Then sprinkle chaat masala on it. Arrange puri/papdi/mathri on it. Then add cheese and nylon sev to it. Cover it with tamarind chutney appiled bread slice.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Place the prepared sandwich on the tawa.
  6. Roast it by applying ghee from both sides on a low flame till it becomes nice golden and crispy.
  7. Once done, take it out on a serving plate and cut it.
  8. FOR PREPARING PAPDI CHAAT :
  9. Arrange puri/papdi/mathri in plate.
  10. Now add boiled potato, tomato, and onion to it. Then sprinkle chaat masala on it.
  11. Then add green chutney and tamarind chutney to it. Add lemon juice to it. Garnish it with nylon sev and coriander leaves.
  12. 'Papdi Chaat Sandwich & Papdi Chaat' is ready to be served.
