Some of the main ingredients that this recipe uses are pasta, green chutney, tamarind chutney, chaat masala, veggies like onion, cucumber, potato, tomato and sev. Since this chaat item does not take much of your time, this recipe is very quick to prepare. So try this unique, innovative yet savoury chaat item at your home. Ingredients

  • Pyaaz/ Onions - as required
  • Hari mirch/ Green chilli - as per taste
  • Aloo/ Potato - as required finely chopped (boiled)
  • Tamatar/ Tomato - as required finely chopped
  • Kheera/ Cucumber - as required finely chopped
  • Pasta - as required
  • Rice flour - as required
  • Red Chili flakes - as required (optional)
  • Oil - for frying
  • Hari chutney/ Green chutney - as required
  • Chaat masala - as required
  • Tamarind chutney/ Imli chutney - as required
  • Nimbu ras/ Lemon juice - as required
  • Sev - for garnishing
  • Coriander leaves - to garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta and sprinkle rice flour and chili flakes on it.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan and fry the pasta in it.
  3. In a bowl, add cucumber, potato, tomato, onion, green chilli, pasta, lemon juice, tamarind chutney, green chutney, and chaat masala in it and mix all the ingredients well with each other.
  4. Garnish the bhel with sev, green chutney, and imli chutney. Sprinkle coriander leaves to garnish while serving.
  5. Pasta Bhel is ready to be served.
