Pasta Chaat | Macaroni Chaat is a fusion dish. 

Pasta Chaat | Macaroni Chaat is a colorful and spicy dish. This is healthy as well as the kid’s favorite tiffin box idea. This protein-rich chaat contains so many vegetables, veg mayonnaise, peanuts, paneer, coriander-mint chutney, tamarind chutney, fresh coconut, and some spices. In addition, it can be a good option as a starter, when you want to host a party. Just chop the veggies, boil the macaroni, and mix them together with spices. So, try to make this healthy and easy dish in your kitchen and share your valuable feedback with us.

Ingredients

  • FOR BOILING MACARONI :
  • Macaroni - 1 Cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • FOR PREPARING MACARONI CHAAT :
  • Veg mayonnaise - 1 tbsp
  • Bell peppers - 1/2 Cup
  • Carrot / Gajar - 1/2 grated
  • Cucumber / Kheera - 1/2 Finely chopped
  • Sweet corn - 1/4 Cup
  • Roasted peanuts / Mungfali - 1 tbsp coarsely ground
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1/4 Cup finely chopped
  • Boiled potato / Aloo - 1 Peeled and chopped
  • Fresh coconut / Nariyal - 1 tbsp finely chopped
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1/2 Sliced (optional)
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  • Coriander-mint chutney / Dhaniye Phudine ki chutney - 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind chutney / Imli ki chutney - 1 tbsp
  • Roasted cumin seeds powder / Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt / Kala namak - 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch - 1/2 tsp
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds / Rai - 1/4 tsp
  • Sesame seeds / Til - 1/2 tsp
  • Mint leaves / Phudina - Finely chopped for garnishing
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - For garnishing
  • Pomegranate seeds / Anar ke daane - For garnishing

Instructions

  1. FOR BOILING MACARONI :
  2. Boil water in a pan. Add macaroni, salt, and oil. Cook it on a medium to high flame for 10 minutes until it becomes soft. Then strain the macaroni. Keep it aside.
  3. FOR PREPARING MACARONI CHAAT :
  4. Take veg mayonnaise, bell peppers, carrot, cucumber, sweet corn, coarsely ground peanuts, paneer, boiled potato, fresh coconut, onion, oregano, chilli flakes, coriander-mint chutney, tamarind chutney, roasted cumin seeds powder, black salt, black pepper powder in a bowl. Mix well.
  5. Now add boiled macaroni. Mix well. Then heat ghee in a tadka pan. Add mustard seeds and sesame seeds. Mix well. Pour it into the prepared macaroni chaat. Mix well.
  6. Then take it out to a serving plate. Garnish it with mint leaves, coriander leaves, and pomegranate seeds.
  7. 'Pasta Chaat | Macaroni Chaat' is ready to be served.
