Tips and suggestions by the Mom Chef:
- If you want, you can keep the raw seeds of the bitter gourd.
- Turn off the flame before adding dry mango powder to the pan.
- The sabji should be cooked on low to medium flame otherwise the spices may burn.
- TO REMOVE THE BITTERNESS OF THE BITTER GOURD : Peel the bitter gourd and apply salt inside and outside of the bitter gourd. Then keep it aside for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes wash it. Now transfer it to a pressure cooker and cook it till 1 whistle. Now wash it and squeeze out it’s water by pressing them between your palms.
