  • Peas can be boiled instead of cooking it into a microwave.
  • Grease the tawa with oil, hence chilla does not stick on tawa.

Ingredients

  • FOR RAVA CHILLA :
  • Semolina / Rava / Sooji - 1 Cup
  • Water - As required
  • Spinach / Palak - 1 Cup finely chopped
  • Capsicum - 1/4 Cup finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1/2 Cup finely chopped
  • Carrot / Gajar - 1/4 Cup grated
  • Peas / Matar - 1/4 Cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1 Teaspoon
  • Curry leaves / Curry patta - A few
  • Green chilli / Hari mirch - 1 to 2 Finely chopped
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Oil - As required
  • FOR PEANUTS CHUTNEY :
  • Desiccated coconut powder - 2 Tablespoons
  • Roasted peanuts / Mungfali - 2 Tablespoons
  • Coriander leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Green chilli / Hari mirch - 1 to 2 Finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Curry leaves / Curry patta - A few
  • Water - As required

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING RAVA CHILLA :
  2. Cook peas in a microwave for 10 minutes. Keep it aside.
  3. Take semolina in a bowl. Add water. Mix well and prepare the lumps-free batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Then add spinach, capsicum, coriander leaves, onion, carrot, peas, salt, cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chilli, and red chilli powder. Mix well. Add little water and prepare a batter for chilla.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with oil. Pour the batter on tawa to make chilla. Roast it on low flame.
  6. Flip it and cook from another side. Once it is done transfer it to a serving plate.
  7. FOR PREPARING PEANUTS CHUTNEY :
  8. Take peanuts, desiccated coconut powder, coriander leaves, green chili, salt, and curry leaves in a grinding jar. Add some water and grind it.
  9. Once done. Take out into a serving bowl.
  10. 'Rava Chilla & Peanuts Chutney' is ready to be served.
