Ingredients

  • Mustard oil / Sarso ka tel - 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds / Rai - 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel seeds / Saunf - 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida / HIng - A pinch
  • Boiled potato / Aloo - 3 to 4 Peeled and chopped
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Dry Mango powder / Aamchur - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, asafoetida, and boiled potato. Mix well. Saute it for a few seconds on medium flame.
  2. Now add turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Mix well. Add salt and mix well. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
  3. Add dry mango powder and mix well. Once done, garnish it with coriander leaves and take it out to a serving bowl.
  4. 'Saunf Wale Aloo Ki Sukhi Sabzi – Travel Special Sabji' is ready to be served.
